Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT/tapping) is highly successful in helping people to lose weight and keep it off over time. I’ve been practicing EFT/tapping for 25 years and have worked with hundreds of clients on various issues – self-esteem, trauma, changing behaviors, improving test scores, and much more. The results hold over time as shown in the study below.
We hold onto weight not necessarily because of what we eat, but because of what is eating us – our beliefs and emotions about ourselves. Grief, sadness, trauma, self-loathing, anxiety, and so forth can cause us to hold onto the weight. Maybe the weight makes us feel safe or safer. If you have been struggling with weight issues, you might consider EFT/Emotional Freedom Technique/Tapping.
A few years ago, I led a four-week EFT for Weight Loss teleclass (via phone). Outcomes for participants were astounding. One woman who drank “17 Diet Pepsi’s a day” lost her craving for them through our tapping sequence during one of the four modules. In that session, all participants tapped on the foods that they craved or loved the most. They brought those foods with them. Before tapping I had them smell the food, and taste it and rate their desire for it on a scale of 0-10 (10 being the highest). Most participants desired the item they brought at 8-10. After tapping, the foods did not at all appeal to them. In other words, they rated those foods at a 0 (zero) meaning no desire whatsoever. The woman who drank 17 Diet Pepsi’s stopped drinking Pepsi’s that night and lost the weight she had struggled with for years.
I am offering it again!

Research shows that “as an online intervention program, EFT was very effective in reducing food cravings, perceived power of food, psychologic symptomatology, and improving dietary restraint and maintaining those improvements over a 2-year period. The addition of EFT to traditional weight-loss interventions is timely and supported by this research.” source https://research.bond.edu.au/en/publications/online-delivery-of-emotional-freedom-techniques-for-food-cravings
