Angel Wisdom and Energy Medicine for Challenging Times

For the last week or so, I’ve been feeling so drained that I have had to take both a morning and afternoon nap. Two naps! My dreams are weird. In the dreams I am often anxious and unsettled – dreams of moving with messes all around me, etc.

I asked the Angel’s what is going on. They love it when I finally remember to ask for help!

They quickly reminded me that being an empath/high-level sensitive, makes me deeply feel the unrest in the world due to the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the fear, panic, and grief, from the wildfires out west.

The Angel’s reminded me to add a few daily energy medicine techniques to help me to ground and be fully present in my body.

First, I spooned my bare feet. Here is Dondi Dahlin demonstrating this technique click here.

Afterward, I yawned repeatedly indicating a shift in energy.

Second, I did the Connecting Heaven & Earth exercise. Donna Eden is seen demonstrating it in this video: click here.

Last, was the Hook-up. To do the Hook-up, place one middle finger in your navel, the other middle finger between the eyebrows. Push in and pull up on both. Hold until you feel a release, or perhaps even a yawn.

I was surprised that I was ungrounded considering I have my feet on a grounding mat every day while working on the computer.

So, I asked the Angel’s why I was not grounded.

“It is due to old trauma response.” They said. That makes total sense to me.

Of the three trauma responses, fight, flight, and freeze, my default is flight. Think about how you handle stressful situations – do you flee, fight, or freeze?

Calming Triple Warmer is helpful in lessening the stress response. One good way to calm Triple Warmer is to hold the palm of one hand over the forehead, and the other palm on the back of the head. Hold up to two or three minutes. I like to do this when I lay down in bed resting my elbows on pillows. Doing so right before bed helps me to fall asleep.

If you are feeling ungrounded, are experiencing brain-fog, feel extra tired or out of sorts, or even fatigued, consider giving these exercises a try for a week. Let me know if you find them helpful. I would recommend making them part of your daily routine, perhaps adding them to your morning and evening routine.

Leave a comment and let me know how you are doing after trying these exercises.
