Every New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day a word comes to me that becomes my focus word, or intention, for the New Year.
Today, the word that came was “Love”.
As I journaled, this is what followed – because all these are derived from Love. As you know, Love is the highest energy of the Universe encompassing all good things.
Joy.
Vibrant Health. Well-Being on All Levels.
Inspiration. Creativity. Motivation. Productivity.
Wealth. Abundance. Prosperity.
Happiness. Peace. Okay-ness.
Empowerment. Power. Strength.
Good Will toward Self and others.
Self-Love. Self-Respect.
Confidence. Inner Knowing. Inner Strength. Inner Peace.
Ability to Love Unconditionally – and sometimes from afar when that is healthier for me.
Forgiveness. Self-Forgiveness first. Forgiveness of others, second.
Flow. Flow of Creation. Flow of Life. Flow of Love.
This year, I was delighted when a physical practice came along with the Word of the Year. Feel free to borrow this for yourself with whatever word you choose for your yearly word/intention. This is how I was guided to do it, modify it to suit your needs/desires.
Rubbing my hands together to increase the energy in my palms. I laid my hands on different areas of my body repeating this phrase, “I love, love, love my _______________.”
I started at the top of my head, rubbing my hands together and laying them on my head. Repeating out loud,
“I love, love, love, my brain.”
Taking a minute to feel the good vibes flow into and warm my brain cells, into my pineal, pituitary, and hypothalamus glands.
Then onto my face, eyes, eyesight, throat – thyroid, upper chest – thymus, lungs, heart, liver, gall bladder, digestive tract, spleen, pancreas, kidneys, adrenals, uterus, ovaries, legs, feet, arms, hands, body – all of me on all levels, physical, emotional/mental, spiritual, all the while repeating the phrase and stating the part, as I directed the Divine energy into that part.
I directed love energy from Spirit/God/Divine/Universe (name it what you will) into every cell atom molecule of my being.
